Dr. Mehdi during his residency and fellowship from 1996-2001 at Los Angeles County Medical Center and USC University Hospital has been well trained and gained experience with extensive neurological disorders that most other neurologists in training only read in books. Founded in 1878, Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center (LAC+USC) is the nation's largest academic institution. It is one of the largest acute care hospitals in America and has been the primary facility of the University of Southern California School of Medicine since 1885. Physicians trained at this institution have hands on experience with diagnosis and treatment of rare and complicated cases.
Dr. Mehdi has fellowship in Neuromuscular Disorders and Neurophysiology (NCV/EMG and EEG), the most difficult sub-specialty of neurology from Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center / Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Mehdi serves as Board of Director for Fresno Madera Medical Society, which is the only professional medical association of physicians in Central Valley (http://www.fmms.org/webpages/leadership.asp), and Medical Director of MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) of Central California. The primary focus of the practice is to treat complicated and difficult neurological cases. We tend to discourage mild and easy case referrals to our practice. That is why we have developed close relationships and referrals with university hospitals like Stanford, UCLA, USC, and UCSF. The goal of CNC is to provide a comprehensive neurological service that was previously not available in the Fresno area. Due to the extensive experience of Dr. Mehdi, this was possible and CNC was formed. We are not just a neurology practice. When you meet the doctor and staff of CNC you will see the face of a deep and advanced neurological center with connections to many world leaders in the specialty of neurology. We will know where to refer you if a treatment is not available in Fresno. Patients are given individual attention and detailed time. Every patient is treated with equal respect and care. We care about our patients and provide the best effort we can make to cure disease. If diseases do not discriminate, why should doctors? Our care and attention is not dependent on patient insurance or status. If you feel you need VIP treatment because of any reason, we are not the place. The person who is sick and needs attention gets the greatest VIP treatment. CNC provides ADVANCED diagnostics and treatment for all complicated neurological cases, but special advanced treatment is offered in sub specialties of: NEUROMUSCULAR DISEASES MOVEMENT DISORDER NEUROIMMUNOLOGY EPILEPSY PAIN NEUROGENETICS INJECTIONS OFFERED
BOTOX TREATMENT
